Petition to Keep Alexandra Marques as a Teacher in the Danvers School System

We need dynamic teachers like Alex, now more than ever!

I’ve known Alex for many years and can attest that she is an asset for any school both personally and professionally. On top of being a kind, caring and genuine person, she’s and invaluable learning resource who I often turn to when I need ideas for my own children.

Mrs Alex is a wonderful teacher and I have had the pleasure of working with her and known her for 10 years now she is a heartfelt and caring teacher that can’t be replaced!

I worked in a classroom with Alex Marques for two years. She is kind, thoughtful, and passionate about teaching and her students.

Mrs. Marques is a dedicated, future ready educator who values creativity and her own professional growth. Her positivity is contagious, her classroom is a warm and inviting space, and she would be an asset to any school district.

Alex is a WONDERFUL mother and teacher and I know how this has devastated her. Her life revolves around teaching children even when she is not in the classroom. This school district NEEDS teachers like Alex!

This school district is making a Huge mistake in not renewing Mrs. Marques contract. I truly cannot say enough good things about her. She is an amazing teacher, team player, staff member and parent. I have worked with her in two different school districts in Texas. She has helped me become a better teacher with all her creative teaching styles, passion for the work, and innovative lessons. I have witnessed several past students and parents come back at Open Houses, school activity nights and last days of schools to personally “Thank” her for what she has done for them or their child. I ask that you please reconsider your decision and renew her contract for the 2020 -2021 school year.

Alex is the most passionate and intelligent person. She makes a positive impact in everyone she meets - she is someone you’d dream of educating your own child, not to mention the future of our community.

Alexandra is an incredibly dedicated and loving teacher and would be a major asset to any school.

Alex is such an inspiration to all near and far. Always caring, creative, kind! We need more teachers like her.

Mrs. Marques taught 4 of my children in Dallas, TX before moving with her family to Mass. She is an exemplary teacher. She made a lasting impact on my children's lives. They are all older teenagers now and still talk about their fourth grade teacher with love. I am always grateful to Mrs. Marques for the positive for model and incredible person she is and for all she's done for my family.

Alex Marques is an amazing teacher and adds tremendously to any school or classroom shes a part of! Please give her the opportunity to continue in her current position.

Alex is an amazing educator with her core values and beliefs centered around what’s best for children. I had the pleasure of teaching with her in Richardson, Texas before she moved to MA. You are doing a great disservice to incoming students by removing this dedicated and passionate teacher.

I worked with Alex at 2 different school and she is among the most dedicated and caring teachers I have even had the pleasure of knowing. Her classroom is a reflection of her nurturing-a class where students are valued, cared for, and always positively encouraged to grow and stretch as learners in a safe environment. We were so sad when she moved out of state as she was a cherished and beloved member of our school. I hope the district will reconsider, as they are losing a talented educator.

No one is more dedicated to the art of teaching than Alex Marques! She has 10+ years of experience and is a master level teacher. You would be crazy to not have this teacher on your team if educators.

I have been teaching for 19 years and taught with Alex in Dallas, Texas. She taught two of my boys and is one of the best educator’s I know!! She puts her blood ,sweat and tears into each child she is given to teach. I have very few teachers that I can honestly Vouch for how amazing they are inside a classroom and outside.
