The current playground at Tavernside Park has far outlived its life expectancy. Rather than continue to repair the decaying wood structures there, the Town of Weston has the opportunity to build a new playground at Lamson Park.

The benefits of a playground at Lamson Park include: (1) most importantly, a much safer location (2) a significantly larger space for children to run and play freely and (3) play spaces for small children through age 10 and (4) a beautiful new community space for families to gather.

In creating this new park, the Town of Weston is giving its children and future generations a safe, fun, interactive, creative space that can be enjoyed for years to come.

Well-planned playgrounds and parks are fundamental to great towns. The playground at Lamson Park is symbolic of residents' pride in and commitment to the town and will serve as a great legacy for the children and grandchildren of Weston.
