The Sound Lounge officially got the green light to open its doors. I am honestly stunned by how many of you stepped up to make this happen because this victory truly belongs to all of you.
I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you care about bringing life back to our high street. We are nearly at our next milestone and the attention this is finally getting is entirely thanks to your passion.

Seeing the count climb toward one hundred signers is completely overwhelming. I never imagined this level of support for the Sound Lounge, but your dedication is what keeps this momentum building.

This is just what Sutton needs. It will do a huge amount to support culture in Sutton (when we are bidding to be the borough of culture) and being a vegan cafe and running a zero waste service it will help Sutton be more green.

I used to live in Colliers Wood and visited Sound Lounge when it was in Tooting. It was a brilliant venue that brought the community together and showcased some very talented local musicians. I was delighted when I heard it was coming to Sutton. It’s such a friendly venue which does a lot of good.

This is going to be an eco, sustainable place to go. Not just a music venue. The arts have been stripped in communities and this is an excellent opportunity for Sutton to improve its diversity to its residents.

Anything that backs and supports grassroots music in the community is a winner as far as I'm concerned. Too many small iconic music venues are being closed or sold off.

This is a much needed regeneration for an otherwise dull and depressing part of town.
It is not a night club!
Sutton desperately needs this.

I am 100% in favour of the opening of this wonderful, cultural venture in Sutton town centre. It will be the complete opposite of an unruly nightclub or pub, catering as it will to lovers of gentle, acoustic music and plant-based food.

I fully support this exciting and much needed opportunity to provide an arts and music venue in this area of Sutton. I look forward to attending!
