This is a wonderful and spirited event. So happy to see kids bringing the community together and raising much needed donations for others in need! Please support this event or find other alternatives that work for everyone.

I choose to validate our youth using their creativity and gifts to support a charitable organization! An act where a teenager chooses to do for others seems to be rarer and rarer these days...go Sam!

Isn't creativity and social consciousness something we should be encouraging-particularly from our youth? I support Sam and Albany Haunt!!!

Great initiative by great kid. Noise during day hours for construction is not regulated. One grouchy neighbor can't stop a great community event.

Sam is celebrating his favorite holiday in a responsible way while helping others - there's no reason Albany Haunt should go away!

Great job to Sam! He's doing something positive and teaching his friends to work together as a team and he had the Fire Dept. approve it which seems very responsible.

Keep this great tradition going! It's only once a year, and some grumpy neighbors have no right to over rule those who just want to have fun...;)

And if you truly want to help, City of Albany, you'd do a good deed and skip the licensing charges so all his proceeds go to the food bank.

Unbelievable that one person can shut this down.

I this is absurd. The haunt should be allowed to be built. Who ties up a kid trying to help his community and be creative, in legal red tap. He should be ashamed.
