Consideration should be given to the charitable nature of this event, and if anything if should be supported to a point of outgrowing a residental area so that it can be relocated elsewhere, to reach higher heights and be that much more strong a fundraiser, much like the progression of Pirates of Emerson in Fremont, which to my knowledge didn't even have the charitable dimension.

Thank you Sam. Next year look or a venue that already has licenses.and permits. The cranky neighbor's address is now known to all.. Maybe he will take his vacation over Halloween next year.

Shout out to Sam for his creativity and willingness to go through the legal channels for a good cause. I hope this out-pour of support will help him to feel supported by the community, even if he has had to haggle with his neighbors.

I never knew about this haunt but think it's a great way to bring the community together to raise funds for a good cause. Keep up the amazing work and i hope they rule in your favor!

This is what the difference between being a property owner and being a neighbor looks like.

I'm don't live in Albany, but I've endured ongoing construction noise from close neighbors for years. It was incredibly disruptive, especially on evenings and weekends. It didn't benefit us or society and the laws were constantly violated. I can't imagine complaining about short term construction noise during legal hours, for a good cause! What a treat that would be! That's why I'm signing - because I know how disruptive and uncaring selfish neighbors can be, and that is NOT Sam.

let the Halloween Spirit live! One neighbors disapproval should not be the single reason to shut a neighborhood Haunted House down. This is an attraction all who celebrate the Halloween spirit look forward to visit in the Neighborhood.

Its time to move Gary. You are the very worst kind of neighbor. So glad that you do not live next to me.

I support this neighborhood event known as Albany Haunt. Did the neighbor try to resolve this neighbor to neighbor or just go straight to the city?

The Haunt is nurturing young artist/innovators, providing entertainment, building community, and raising funds for charity. Please support its immediate resurrection and future growth. The Haunt deserves nothing less.
