Way to go. Hopefully, you'll find a resolution to this and that neighbor can eat it. LOL

The Haunt is a worthy endevour and the neighbor is just being a control freak. If he wants a moderated existence I suggest a planned community out in Dublin or Livermore where diversity is less tolerated.

Let this young man keep doing haunted house. He went through all the proper channels and he's helping others. Maybe his neighbor could learn a few things from him.

Sam is a young man who any adult should be proud of. Raising money for the needy all the while doing what he loves. The neighbor should get his family involved and show his young son that Halloween can be such a wonderful time to unite family and friends! Go Sam!

It's a Halloween decoration. He doesn't charge so it is like he is having a birthday party at his house, just that is happens everyday until after Halloween. Everyone celebrates so holiday in some way. It's once a year in the month of October. Let it Be...

I worked a home based haunted circus and understand how important this is and the obstacles you must jump. This neighbor is just a minor nuisance and will soon be forgotten.

He deserves a chance to show of his spirit and support for a good cause . Don't stop his haunt. It would be a shame to the city and to a future haunter.

what has the neighbor done to feed the hungry ? teach other kids and the one sucking his thumb because his nightmares are bothering him ,how about getting active in your community like this young man , and helping him instead of punishing the young man for actualy making a difference in his community . Shut this down and shut down every Christmas display exactly that does the same ..

Until last year, i ran a large Halloween block party on 30th st in Richmond. The city was wonderful and supportive... in ran successfully for 13 years. In the spirit of things like National night out... please keep this neighborhood resource open and successful.

This neighbor is ridiculous. As long as construction happens during legal noise hours, it shouldn't be a legal issue.

I was saddened to read how the local government decided to line their pockets with donation money. Fight for it and stay true to yourself. Hopefully this boy won't listen to his anal parents and will realize how cool it is. Imagine him growing up to be a haunter. The parents should have brought him over to the haunt in the daytime to show him it's not real and maybe he could have seen something be made.
