DUSC Supports Redevelopment of Pier 40 to allow more Sports Fields

We need more fields for our kids

Both our sons have benefited tremendously from DUSC programs and future children to enjoy the same programs, so please provide the field space at Pier 40.

Soccer and all sports fields are in such great demand for people of all ages, not only in New York City.

Please expand Pier 40! NYC parents need more space for our kids to grow.

Expanding our fields in downtown manhattan is critical for keeping our kids healthy, happy and strong.

We don't have enough space available for sports practice. We should insure perseverance of the majority of Pier 40 as our downtown kids + youth + adults outdoor and indoor sports facility

I do not live in district 2, however my children attend schools in the district which use pier 40 their athletic programs. I feel that it's vital to the community that pier 40 remain for the education of all children since sport is a vital part of the education process.

More sports fields for our growing downtown neighborhoods are a necessity for the health and well-being of our community.

my son is 11 and the Pier 40 soccer fields with Manhattan Kickers were a massive part of development, both physical and social we left club due to field conditions and now play in New Jersey

this should be a priority to any parents who take good care of their kids.

Our community needs more sports fields to help adults and children achieve a healthy lifestyle.

Pier 40's fields are an essential part of the downtown community of New York. Please keep them being!

Pier 40 is vital for so many sports and children in NYC.

Our community is in great need of attention to this. In New York City in general is lagging behind the rest of the country and soccer development & status when we could be at the top . we have a multicultural city with people from all over the world – Probably more diverse than any city in America . soccer is the biggest sport in the WORLD ! The respect and commitment to this sport should be shown in New York City where we have people Who are passionate about the game from EVERY PART OF THE WORLD ! Thank u

It is vital for Pier 40 to remain open with soccer fields! The children of NYC and neighboring schools NEED somewhere to practice and play sports.
