We need more not less Nursing Schools. The demand for nursing is very high but the supply is very low. To attain equilibrium, please open a new Nursing Program at WLAC.

The Nursing Program at South West Los Angeles College should NOT lose its accreditation from the Nursing Board (BRN) due to lack of adequate facilities.

I stand 100% behind the LASC's nursing program and its efforts to achieve a permanent and BRN acceptable teaching and learning facility for LASC. We expect the Board of Trustees to act immediately to provide a state-of-the-art facility to support its students, faculty, staff and community interests.

Many students at LASC, including myself are aspiring to enter this program to improve our lives and our communities. This program is extremely important and I fully support this because I can first-hand attest to the lack of viable equipment in our science department. Students work too hard and pay too much to not be given the chance they deserve!
