Support Nursing Program at Los Angeles Southwest College

The nursing program at Southwest means everything to so many people. I’m not a student there but I know a lot of people who are and Southwest is the only college that’s local enough for literally anybody to attend. A lot of the people in the area have a hard time getting to other schools which may discourage them from going at all. Nursing at Southwest would create so many opportunities for so many different people. Let’s support the dreams of our young black people and make this easier for them.

This is for the good of the whole community.

Help those that need this program we need nurses

This is a wonderful program that gave me the opportunity to become a Registered Nurse and serve in that capacity to my community.

Nurses are in demand. LA is not producing the prepared professional nurses we need, especially as Californians over 80 are the fastest growing age group in the state. We need a strong nursing program to supply the trained workforce to fill the high-skill healthcare jobs of today & tomorrow.

I wholeheartedly support the Los Angeles Southwest College Nursing Program.

Please save this nursing program. It has given me the career I have today.

This campus was initially fought for by the community. This campus received funds from the state that was geared directly to provide a state of the arts nursing program at Southwest. The nursing program has provided a wonderful a means for individuals to gain valuable skills and knowledge to become a great resource for the community. Do the right thing in keeping the program as well as teaching future nurses in the best facility LACCD.

LASC and it’s community cannot afford to lose its Nursing Program. I wholeheartedly support efforts to maintain the program’s vital educational and vocational goals.

Nurse's are so important for patients. They supportive and give everyone what is best for them. They also reinforce what the doctors do.

Give these young people to train as nurses in their community. Support Southwest College.

Our community needs this program. So many outstanding nurses have graduated from this college. This program has been such a milestone to soo many families and the community as a whole.
