we just got the word that the trust is reversing those massive hire fee hikes. it feels surreal that we actually won this but im so proud of what we did together for the club. lets keep an eye on the budget moving forward just to be safe.

By signing this petition, you are showing your support for Nuneaton and Bedworth Swimming Club and calling for Nuneaton and Bedworth Leisure Trust to reconsider the level of increase in charges, given the detrimental impact on this voluntary organisation and its 400 members.
We are very concerned about the sustainability of the club because of economic factors, wholly arising from excessive increases in pool hire charges in the region of 46% per hour for training and over 100% for galas.
Nuneaton and Bedworth Swimming Club is a not-for-profit organisation, it has been in existence for over 80 years. The club is run by volunteers, and provides high quality coaching to children and young people at all levels of ability; from learn to swim to national level competition and everything in between. The club promotesa family ethos and our membersare proud torepresent theborough of Nuneaton and Bedworth through our high level of participation at events across the UK.
We would like to point out that thispetition is free to sign and although you may be asked for a donation at the end of the process, this is not on behalf of Nuneaton and Bedworth Swimming Club.

My kids have been swimming here for years and the price hike is just ridiculous. Keep the club open!
Such a shame to see a local club that has been around for 80 years pushed to the brink by greedy increases.
100 percent increase for galas is criminal. They are going to price out all the local families who rely on this club.
THE COUNCIL IS RUINING EVERYTHING. STOP THESE FEES NOW.
Hope this helps the club stay afloat. It is a vital part of the community and they deserve better than this.
