The MKL has been an asset to Fort Smith for as long as I can remember. It bothers me that people are even considering cutting funds given how much the library offers the residents of Fort Smith.

I love our local library - keep it safe and don't drop services.

Fort Smith deserves a safe gathering space where everyone is welcome and life-long learning is supported.

I believe in keeping community spaces for learning and gathering accessible to all as much as possible - even if it means an increase in taxes. Let's protect these sacred spaces.

Our town library is more than just a library. It is one of the very few places in town that is safe for all children. Often I have gone in during the after school hours and founfd many children quietly reading or on the computer. It is such a vital part of out community and I can not imagine it having to reduce its hours or perhaps close. Please consider the youth of our community.

I cannot imagine a community without a library. Our library is a wonderful place to spend time in...so cozy, warm, welcoming. A great place for young and old. When my children were small we spent so many days picking out favorite books, music, movies, all for free.
