Fantastic addition to the city's culture scene, which has been dying a slow death for years now thanks to the Council. No reason whatsoever for this to be denied. Noise? It's beside the busiest street in Edinburgh. Style? Walk 100 feet up the road during Christmas and there's a winter wonderland which doesn't exactly scream World Heritage site. This argument seems to be used inconsistently to support their personal views. Lauding power over the hand that feeds, never ends well.

Edinburgh Council get a grip your stuck in the dark ages. Great bar during the festival and definitely should be back for Christmas you old scrooges!

I for one would like to see this back as my Dad takes my wee boy (who's 4) for a boys night.. Juice and crisps all round and he loves it, the staff are amazing and it certainly brightens up the mall which is otherwise drab and dull... Bring back Malones....
