I visited in the summer. Thought it was a great venue. Never saw any trouble. Very happy for it to be back.

Edinburgh needs tacky, jerry built Oirish themed bars. Not enough venues for draft packs to drink in.

Rejection of planning permission was wrong and put simply a bad decision.
The application followed all guidelines and conformed to all recommendations.
Malones is a well managed properly structured organisation who put customer satisfaction, and all health and safety responsibilities to the forefront of their activities.
During the festive period Malones will contribute to the ambience of the season much to the benefit of the city ,not be detrimental in any way
This decision should be overturned and permission granted.

Easily one of the best bars in Edinburgh when it was opened, no other places have live bands on through the week on a daily basis/food served all day etc
