Please see sense and grant permission to Malones permission to open on the Mall It’s a wonderful venue and add so much to the Edinburgh city Centre. Had many lovely evenings there during the Festival and looking forward to going back for Christmas and New Year.

Please rethink. This affects more people than you'd even begin to imagine! Because the bar showcases live music during the day it's an opportunity for children to enjoy and experience live music which is almost impossible to do anywhere else in the city... in Scotland's CAPITAL CITY. Let's continue to be a city of culture and creativity.

Absolutely farcical decision from the council to deny Malones permission to open. Malones provides a fantastic first impression of Edinburgh to tourists arriving from Waverley station; showcasing local talent, a fantastic bar set up and one of the greatest Irish bars in the country. During Fringe Festival it was a fantastic pit stop for tourists shopping on Princes Street and this is not only a poor decision by the council but a childish one
