Mr. Mita builds first class beautiful hotels and shops that fit the landscape. The designs for Ocean City tell me that that will continue. It is not financially viable to build another amusement park which is why no one has stepped up. I fully support this.
Been a member of this community for over 65 years we desperately need to upgrade our boardwalk asap it has changed so much lately and need a fresh look this project will provide its own parking which we need desperately as well as a beautiful face
Ocean city NEEDS a nice hotel, Port O Call is completely outdated and for an upscale vacation destination you need somewhere nice to stay! I’ve been coming to OC for almost 45 years and I think it’s a tasteful addition to the town.
Icona Avalon was a game changer for familie s wanting to visit that area who don't need or want to rent a huge house but want a modern luxury hotel with a small town beach feel. An Icona in Ocean City would be a great addition and encourage new visitors to the area.
Would prefer a compromise - smaller footprint, definitely keep the historic and memorable attractions/memorabilia. I am a neighboring resident who believes this could be very attractive as long as the neighborhood and zoning is respected!
I have a place in Ocean City NJ and I think this Grand hotel will bring in a lot of new guests to experience all the joys our City has to offer. Our fabulous Boardwalk ,our shops on Asbury Ave and our Beautuful beaches will bring people from around the World . We aren’t named “Americas greatest family resort” for nothing
I had an amazing experience there that one Ii lol cherish for the rest of my life

This is a project that will add excitement and foot traffic to the northern section of the OCNJ Boardwalk which has gotten worse over the past six years. OCNJ needs world class accommodations to stay as a vacation destination and this project will provide this.
