I support the creation of Hillsboro Charter Academy, to provide Loudoun County with a new center of learning excellence and greater school choice.

Updates

I have been hearing from so many families who feel like their current options are just not the right fit for their children. The conversations behind the scenes are moving forward and your commitment to this mission is exactly what I need to keep pushing for these students.

Seeing this momentum grow reminds me why I started this for my own kids. It is clear that so many families in our community are desperate for the academic environment that this academy will finally provide.

Even if there isn't a slot available for my child, I would still love to volunteer & help! Our family is in Round Hill.

I no longer have school aged children, but I am extremely interested in having well educated children in our Loudon County community.

I support smaller class sizes, an all year academic calendar and an alternative way to teach. We need these ideas in mainstream education.

Hillsboro's small size was a draw to us when we moved to this area a few months ago. We encourage the creation of an academy that will preserve this small school and its place in the community.

Would be a great opportunity for my grandson son. I taught Science to fifth graders and saw a boring subject become exciting learning experience for them. I did mostly hands on and know there is more opportunity for this type of teaching in a charter school.

I am interested in this school for my three youngest children. Our current elementary school is Selden's Landing, which I know is overcrowded. This Charter School would help alleviate some of the overcrowding in the other local schools.
