I really cannot believe it actually happened but the board is staying and Mr. Matthews is staying too. My coffee is cold because I have been pacing around the house for an hour and honestly I am just so relieved that everyone saw what I saw. We won here but …
1) We the following are in full support of the Governing Board of Imagine School at North Port, Inc. and Mr. Justin Matthews, Head of Schools of Imagine School at North Port.
2) The Governing Board of Imagine School at North Port has a fiduciary responsibility to the school, tax payers, and the Sarasota County School Board to ensure school funds are properly spent to meet the needs of the school, staff, and students.
I have been reading through the feedback from everyone lately and it really reminds me why we need to stay firm on this because the board and Mr. Matthews have been working hard behind the scenes to keep things stable for the students. It is honestly exhausting sometimes to navigate the bureaucracy but knowing so many people see the value in what they are building makes the late nights worth it.

Mr. Matthews and the board are doing what they have to do. School money needs to be handled right, not wasted. Please let them do their jobs.

The board has a duty to watch the funds and make sure they go where they should. Thats just common sense.

Support them 100%. If money isnt managed properly then everybody suffers, especially the students.

Leave Mr. Matthews alone and let the governing board do their work. They know what the school needs better than outsiders do.

Full support for the board and Mr. Matthews. They owe it to the kids and taxpayers to keep things in order.
