Jane Dough Bake House is looking to open a charming, conscientious storefront in Midlothian, Texas between the Midlothian Civic Center and CVS. UVPD-122 is to allow us to build our specialty storefront on a small, triangle-shaped lot that does not conform to today's city setback regulations. This is Midlothian’s chance to get delicious, from-scratch baked goods from the first net-zero electricity building in town!

im currently working on the final site plan to answer some questions the zoning board had about the lot. the support you guys have shown keeps me motivated to push through all this paperwork so we can get those ovens running.

i honestly cant believe how many people want this bakery as much as i do. seeing this kind of momentum tells me the town is ready for some fresh bread and a bit of progress.

I love that you not only have a unique, high quality product, but that you are wanting to bring an environmentally friendly building to Midlothian. I hope others take note and follow your lead!

We have known Krystal and her family for many years. She has prepared wonderful creations for several family events and we trust the wholesome and natural ingredients she uses, because we've seen and tasted the proof. We wholeheartedly support this endeavor she has chosen and hope she receives the approvals she needs because this building will be an awesome addition to the city, especially because it will help in the revitalization of the core of the city.

Yes please!! Every time I drive by that place it makes me sad. I’m so tired of the only things being approved are box stores, fast food, or nail salons in strip centers! Please let’s allow this to be built and start giving our town some personality.

We fully support the efforts of Jane Dough in Midlothian. Krystal and her family are legacy members of our community and actively involved in so many things. How wonderful for our town with homegrown youth return from college and set roots to continue a family legacy. Our citizens and council should not only welcome but fully support such efforts. Her hard work and commitment to building a true cottage business is a shinning example for other young entrepreneurs.

I think this is a lovely idea. As we continue to develop toward this part of town, we need to update what’s already there with things we value, like sustainability and small businesses!

This would a wonderful addition. It would be so nice to see that spot refreshed. It has been stagnant & rundown for so long.
