I am deeply saddened by the lack of civility and respect for others that has characterized some people's interactions with our public bodies and elected officials. It is damaging to the community, it sets a very poor example for our children, and it does nothing to solve the problems and challenges that we ALL seek to overcome.

As a former teacher, I want to hear what they think. I definitely don't want political outsiders who have an agenda to have a say. Support our board members--and education staff.

This is a confusing time all over the nation, and particularly in Illinois. Thank everyone for their patience while a sincere and capable school board navigate this in the best way for the children.

I support our amazing Superintendent too. I despise the people who don’t have kids in District 39 who show to promote their political agenda. They don’t care about our kids, they care about their agenda.

The board members are actually volunteers who donate time. Its not easy.

Thanks for the hot take, anonymous "we" who "definitely live in the D39 area," but you clicked on the wrong link. This is a petition to thank OUR school board for keeping OUR kids, teachers, and staff safe throughout the pandemic and show our support to them as they continue to lay out a course ahead. It's not a rage toilet for outsiders' Covid disinformation campaigns.
