LIVE is seeking funding from Travel Oregon's Oregon Wine Country Plates Matching Grant Program to develop a smartphone app to drive tourism to certified sustainable wineries and vineyards with public tasting rooms.
As a member of the Oregon Wine Industry, I support LIVE's grant application for funding this project and believe it will have beneficial economic impact for the industry and the region. I believe this program will also help to educate the wine consumer about sustainable practices and certification.
I understand that participation in this app will be made available to any LIVE certified member with a public tasting room or retail facility.

The momentum behind this app is incredible. It proves how much the industry wants to highlight sustainable tourism.

This is an idea that will benefit smaller wineries that are sustainable but, perhaps, not known to a larger audience. Oregon's "green" reputation will be strengthened as visitors get to the vineyards.
This app will be a very beneficial addition for LIVE Certified wineries that will allow tourists to focus in on those of us that are LIVE certified and follow the important protocols that ultimately lead to the growing and production of very high quality Oregon fruit. I strongly recommend that you approve this important grant.
Such an ap would be great for our Winery as we are in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA and "off the beaten path" of the typical wine country visitor. I wholeheartedly support this grant application for its beneficial effect on all OR wineries who are dedicating their lives to be good stewards of the land.
The vineyard on the license plate is LIVE certified. It's perfect that the license plate can in turn support LIVE!
