Plenty of positive accolades for Mr Krebs here in these comments. I don’t know him and can’t add any myself but feel the rush to exoneration is a bit premature. Let’s let the investigative process play out since none of are privy to the details of the charges. At that point we can as a community take stock and assess. The school district cannot welcome him back with open arms while a police investigation is in progress. Hopefully things will turn out well for Mr Krebs,l and he can continue to teach and educate but I don’t see how we can make those judgements yet.

Coach Krebs is a caring, talented, intelligent, knowledgeable teacher and coach. Mistakes may have been made. Ownership, atonement, forgiveness and rebuilding are called for. Isn't this what we want our kids to learn?

Let he who has no sin Cast the first stone. I am quite sure that whatever Tyler did was not the critical act that destroys lives or property, so we let bygones be bygones. His skills and talents out shine whatever he did wrong.

I've known Tyler for over 29 years. He has always been a man of integrity, with a solid moral compass. He made a mistake. We've all done things we regret; Tyler deserves compassion and forgiveness for what he has taken ownership of. He is a great teacher, loves working with kids, and should indeed be allowed to continue to do so.

Bad. I’m sure if anyone knows the wrong it is Tyler. He will wear this scar the rest of his life. Throw no stones. We’ve all had this moment somewhere in our lifetime. With that said; what should be the punishment. I say weigh ALL the good to the bad. Reach out to other coaches in the conference. Reach out to the public, the word of God, and then make a consensus decision. This is not worthy of ruining someone, however is punishable to some extent. God Bless you all through this troubled time. Love you Tyler....learn from it. That is the true reflection of a man.

There are too few teachers of Mr. Krebs caliber to throw one side for a trivial lapse in judgment. Teaching is his life. Students thrive under his tutelage and I believe, if given the opportunity, he will continue to make the lives of thousands of kids better.

I have known Coach Krebs for 10 years now. His only fault is the size of his heart for empathy and compassion for others. A workaholic to a fault- he makes everybody else better through his commitment and motivation! His family is the greatest! I have been associated with many coaches- top 3 in my experience- this will never change.

I've known Tyler since we were kids. I strongly believe Lakeville needs to step up and show support for one of their own. Tyler grew up in the Lakeville school district and has returned to give back to the community through quality teaching, coaching, and mentoring his students. Please give him a chance to return. He deserves to, but more importantly, the students deserve it.

As a retired teacher and parent of three children that participated in sports through high school and college, I feel very strongly that this is a teacher, coach and community member that I would always choose to guide my children in the classroom, on the field and through life. Our three grandsons attend school and participate in the Lakeville South Football Program. What a shame it would be for them to miss the opportunity to learn with Tyler Krebs!
