I have known Tyler for years. He is a very good man, who made a poor choice. I would encourage the district to see what a learning/teaching moment this can be for the kids he cares so much about. I have no doubt that Tyler took immediate responsibility for his actions- because that is who he is. This is a great opportunity to show the kids he influences that taking responsibility and accountability in your mistakes is as powerful as the choices you make. He loves to teach and he loves to coach and I believe this challenging time will probably make him even better at both.

I have experienced first hand the incredible positive impact Coach Krebs has had on our program, our school and community. In his short time at South, he has turned the football program around and we have a great deal of momentum and a bright future. Losing Coach Krebs leadership would be a huge blow to the South community and it would take years to recover. I realize Coach Krebs made a mistake, but I also believe in the powerful lesson of forgiveness and redemption and the profound impact that it could have on our students and community. Coach Krebs is family and family doesn’t turn its back when something goes wrong. Losing Coach Krebs leadership would be a huge blow to our program and would set us back years.

I support Coach Krebs. He is a good man that made a mistake. He will emerge even stronger from this and will undoubtedly use that opportunity and platform to help the students and co-workers around him learn from this mistake as well.

I 100% support giving Tyler Krebs another chance. He had a fantastic impact on the kids in Burnsville and I know that his continued presence in Lakeville will ultimately be very rewarding for your school district.

I do not know Tyler Krebs as a coach, but I do know him as a good & faithful man who fiercely loves and works hard. I followed his daily posts (later a book) on "Caring Bridge" for months regarding the struggles of his wife and infant son after his birth. It's a lesson for everyone, especially students, that at the Right Time and the Right Place, we are all vunlnerable and can "blow it" by making a wrong choice. Please make the Right Time happen by reinstating Tyler.

We’ve known Tyler since he was an infant and have admired his educational experience, his work ethic and his great family. Casting aside his abilities from the district would be a loss.... forgiveness is an important characteristic the community should subscribe to.

I am lending my voice as one who has also known Tyler since he was a boy. I have known him to be a youth and now a grown man of compassion and character. He comes from a family with strong values and in my opinion that has been reflected in the accomplishments and contributions of a remarkable teaching career. If there has been a lapse here I can’t imagine it as being one that need cut short such an admirable career in guiding young people.
