Thank you for what you do for our schools, our kids, and our community! We appreciate it.
This is a petition in support of Coach Tyler Krebs.
As parents, peers, co-workers, and students, we know Tyler Krebs as a person of character, leadership, and quality. His track record of educating kids in the classroom, and on the field, is a proven track record of success. He cares about others around him and he is willing to put others before himself. These are characteristics that we look for in our teachers, coaches, and community leaders. We know when we have a good one, and we do.
We cannot lose a leader of his unique ability especially in the classroom or on the field over a lapse of judgement. We have always believed mistakes are part of the learning process for everyone. We would anticipate that he will be an even better teacher and coach from this experience. His track record as an educator deserves a second chance. Tyler Krebs is a true asset to Lakeville South in the classroom, and part of the program he is helping to build.
Please consider our voices as you proceed with the investigation and form your conclusions. If the conclusion is one lapse of judgement after a long history of very positive educational results in the classroom and building wonderful programs for the kids in the community, we feel Tyler Krebs deserves another chance.

The days have been long and honestly this process feels draining at times. We are nearing the five hundred mark and I need you to push this a little further today so the administration sees we are not backing down.

All actions will and should have consequence but let it be appropriate to the situation and to the individual. Tyler has shown himself to be a remarkable teacher and coach who has had a positive impact for so many. Don’t let that be lost to the community.
I graduated from Eastview almost 20 years ago and Tyler Krebs was one of my most memorable teachers - a really great educator who goes above and beyond to engage students in the classroom. It would be a shame to lose a teacher of this caliber.
Tyler Krebs is not my friend he is my brother. His dedication to teaching and the sports he coaches is second to none. Please know that he is greatly missed and Lakeville South High school is not the same with out him.
Mr. Krebs is an exceptional educator and coach! The comments herein are illustrative of the profound impact he has on his students and players (including myself). I hope my young children get the opportunity to have educators and coaches like Mr. Krebs!!!
Coach Krebs has been a fantastic role model for our boys. He is working hard to build a better program, a better community and to help our boys become better people on and off the football field.
Great coach and great person.
He was my son's high school coach. A great coach!

Our education system needs strong leaders and human beings He is not running away from his mistake but taking responsibility for his actions. A wonderful trait for our children to witness and adopt. Thanks.
