Burlington City Councilor Adam Roof UVM '11 (I-Ward 8) has introduced the Bystander Intervention Training for Establishments Serving Alcohol in Burlington, an 18-month pilot program that will train nightlife employees in Bystander Intervention in conjunction with their alcohol licensing. The UVM Student Government Association supports this initiative as it will promote safety for students who frequent downtown Burlington.
