The Historic Glendive Greenhouse was built in 1913 and has been operating as a commercial business for over 100 years, however when the zoning laws were established our property was never zoned accordingly.
Therefore, we are requesting for a variance to our property to obtain a Restaurant Beer & Wine License (aka Cabaret License). A Cabaret License would allow our customers to be served a glass of wine/beer while enjoying their meal.
We want to improve Glendive as a destination by offering a complete dining experience for our customers by offering something unique to Eastern Montana.

I support the variance to allow the business to expand. This is one of my favorite places to visit when I come to Glendive.
The Bloom is a great attraction to Glendive. As a neighbor, friend, and business person I support this business and variance as a community asset.
I think this would be a wonderful idea. We need to move Glendive forward in to this century. The Bloom is a wonderful space where you can just sit and be comfortable.
In order for Glendive to survive and grow businesses need the freedom to do so. Our officials need to stop saying NO and say LET'S FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE THIS WORK. Does Glendive realize we pay for a Planner that flat out says NO to everything brought to him and then you are told to take it up with the planning board?? WE PAY FOR THIS NO - no effort given to figure out HOW to make something work.
The greenhouse holds a special spot in my heart. I lived in that area when I was a little girl. My love of flowers and gardening started there. There is no reason on this earth that this business should not keep on growing and thrive. I still go there and they have done a beautiful job, let's keep it a thriving business.
