It has been quite a nice opening for The Hidden Cafe and we could not have made such an impact without your patronage and support. We are just trying to provide a meaningful gathering space for folks! As we navigate the sometimes challenging environment of starting a food business with rising costs of rent and staffing we are looking at ways to expand our offerings and look to having beer and wine to pair with our expanding menu. If you like what we are doing please help us petition for a beer and wine license with the City of Berkeley!

Please allow the hidden cafe to serve beer and wine. They have brought a welcoming and creative vision to Strawberry Creek and this would add to the sociability of what they are offering.
What a great local business - please allow them to have the means to afford Berkeley rent and stay open: give them their beer/wine license!
Loving the fresh, organic vibe this place has. It also feels inclusive of the families with little's who frequent the park daily. I've unfortunately not always felt welcome to some of the newer hipster cafes when I have my child in tow. Thanks for welcoming ALL.
Working in the neighborhood, I have been witnessing a rather frequent change of ownership of the cute cafe now known as The Hidden Cafe. The new owners are doing a magnificent job running the cafe and making it a wonderful destination to get together and socialize. Thus I support the idea of serving beer and wine. Thank you!
As a neighbor in the Poet's Corner area (Acton Crescent), I am strongly in support of this petition! The Hidden Cafe is a beautiful gathering spot for individuals and families to come together and interact.

I live in the neighborhood and I absolutely adore this restaurant. It is the perfect spot to enjoy not only their divine tacos but also to sit in the sunny park and have a glass of wine. Please approve their license - we need businesses like this to stay open for the good and delight of all!
