A fantastic family-run business that has catered the residents of Hackney for many years. Businesses like this should be supported and I hope that the landlord can act with a sense of civic responsibility and allow them to continue to serve the community for many years to come

Argun’s has been a creative essential site for a long period of time and it’s given me a great escape from the challenges of work and life for years. I’m always impressed by how professional and kind everyone is who works there. It’s a cornerstone of Hackney’s Centre and its creative roots. Losing it for a bar it’s absolutely horrible and disgraceful. We can’t lose something so integral to Hackney.

This is linked to the crass gentrification of the road structure at Hackney central and greedy landlords should not be emboldened by Hackney Councils rampant erasing of Hackney.

I’ve been going to Argun my whole life and it’s loss would be damaging to the whole community. We don’t need another hospitality venue, we need continued access to creative materials from a local business that is still very much the centre of Hackney Central community.

Argun is big part of Hackney Central community.
It’s an established business that I have been using for years because of good service and location.Kicking them out and relocating them it will kill their business as I am not sure I will go out of my way to use their services.Everything is about location and time.At the moment they tick both boxes.

This is an essential service in this neighbourhood for its long term residents, most notably school children.

Amazing stationers! Such a wonderful local useful brilliant shop! How can they be featured on Hackney Council promotion videos one month and at risk the next of closure due to greedy landlords rent hikes!
