Throughout the years, we have provided quality printing, stationery supplies, and personalised services that meet the unique needs of Hackney's diverse population. We have supported countless local events, schools, and small businesses, all while fostering a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
The current situation is not only distressing for us but also for the community that relies on our services. Our landlord’s attempt to terminate our lease without just cause is not only unfair but also legally questionable. This is a very useful, well stocked and managed shop for local people. I use it a lot for buying card etc and printing for our Community Centre and for items of stationery for myself. The staff are very helpful and the prices are OK. Don't shut it down.
Our family have used Argun’s for all our stationary and printing needs for 30years, for school, work, voluntary work and family. We think this family business should be treated as a special case as it serves the whole community so well and meets real needs.
I have lived in Hackney for 21 years and use this store regularly. It is part of our community and should not be forced to leave because of some capitalistic endeavour over our wishes and needs. It is an important part of the fabric of our ‘village’.
I have been coming to Argun for many years. They are the only shop like it in Hackney Central and are a vital part of our community. Shark landlords looking for a quick buck don’t realise that having reliable, popular tenants is worth its weight in gold!
I’ve been going to Argun for years, it’s such a reliable shop for any small arts business/ freelancers. Easy printing, postal supplies and papers. There isn’t another shop like this for locals, I’d be devastated if this was taken away from the community.

Developers are pushing out retailers and staples of our community for what??? FOR RICH WHITE PEOPLE to have their overpriced coffee and trinket shops. we don’t want them here.

This is one of my favourite shops in Hackney and I have been coming here for more than 25 years since my children were young. It’s a proper independent shop with brilliant services and stock and deserves to stay in its location. We don’t need more pubs.
