This is a splendid store which is of great benefit to the citizens of Hackney. I would be greatly devastated to see this store close down. My heart would crumble into many pieces.

Argun are an essential part of Mare Street's community. They would not be in the way of the proposed development and would suffer greatly from being moved to the Morning Lane desert of shops (which, I seem to remember had ZERO interest or passing trade). Please do not allow them to be evicted and overriden by money hungry developers!!!!

This shop is part of the community after all these years , Families use it for Schools and Colleges equipment & Stationary. Stop destroying our Neighbourhood. We don't need more Alcohol Venues.

Remember when Hackney proudly showcased Argun as an example of how much they value local businesses? And now what—does that pride no longer matter?
Are we really going to lose yet another independent business, only for it to be replaced by another coffee shop or pub?
Please protect Argun and keep this local business alive.

Argun stationers is the best independent printing, stationery and art suppliers, in Hackney, and possibly the whole of north east London. It’s very hard to find the breadth and quality of stock and service in almost any type of retailer, anywhere in London. Closure would be an incredible waste and shame, and detrimental to the whole community, please don’t allow this, protect Argun.
