Support Argun Stationers against unlawful lease termination

Argument stationaries has been an integral part of the local community for decades. It has served so many people over the years and seen me through two degrees spanning 30 years . Why would you condemn this independent retailer ..to replace with what ? A chain retail shop or development of more unaffordable housing ..all part of the gentrification of Hackney .

I have been a customer of Argun Stationary for a few years and I think it would be a big loss for tte local community if trey had to move somewhere else. They are very conveniently located and offer a huge range of arts and crafts supplies.

Yet again another example of corporate greed over local enterprise and community value. Labour will never get my vote again if the council thinks this is short term money making opportunity

This is not good at all I've been going to this shop ever since I was 16 years old I'm now in my late 40s and I've always come to the shop needing a plethora of things for my work despite me moving abroad for a while, being based in Islington, seeing friends in Hackney and now currently residing in Hackney this shop is fantastic for artists, architects, students, businesses and is a matriarch of a staple for Hackney this cannot close the service is friendly and fantastic we do not need more niche bars

Argun is an institution serving many people in the community from the established professionals to young artists and students. It’s also a lifeline for businesses that come to them for support in any printing needs. It would be harmful to the community and local businesses if Argun were to close. It must not happen. I object to the eviction of Argun stationers from their premises on Mare Street, Hackney. They have been serving the local community and businesses for years, they deserve to stay and to continue their business.

this amazing little shop is a huge Hackney success story. It is ALWAYS busy, and provides several services that no one else nearby does. Losing it would be detrimental to the cultural life of central Hackney. As an artist myself I am in there constantly for supplies. This shop, and the family who run it, should be celebrated as key citizens, not threatened with closure and eviction. Hackney council you have got this completely the wrong way around. And Hackney central DOES NOT need another club/drinking venue - there are a lot already in that small area. If you aren't careful you will alienate the demographic (the young, middle class creatives) you seek to attract here. THINK AGAIN HACKNEY COUNCIL

This would be devastating. Argun Printers and Stationers provide a vital service to the community, and local businesses.

No more takeaways in Hackney

Argun has been around for decades and it'll be a shame to loseit!

Local people need local services and people should not lose out to private business creating profit. Argun has been open 30 years, this is their home, people need them. Why should they even pay a lease? Archco could afford to give them the building and write it off as a charitable donation.
