Support Anna Jonesboro Community High School Football Coach Brett Detering and his family through this difficult time! It is with Deep Gratitude that I send you my heartfelt thanks for being such a wonderful role model, teacher, friend, inspiration, coach, and caring parent toward my son and all the other boys on the team. This is a HUGE sacrifice of time and commitment by both of you and your family, and completely enhances our children's experience in growing to be their highest and best. The lessons they have learned while playing football involve working with each other, good sportsmanship, teamwork, and a bigger understanding that it takes more than one person to achieve great success. Being a part of something bigger, gives my son a sense of belonging, and camaraderie that he truly loves and appreciates being a part of. Many of these boys will be lifelong friends and having these shared experiences, growing up together, makes them better and stronger friends who will always be there to support each other. Frankly, there are no words to truly share with you that convey adequately how much our family truly appreciates every minute of time you spent with and for our kids. We understand that you have family and other commitments, please always know that your efforts are greatly appreciated and honestly, we just plain love you for them!! If there is anything that I can do in any way to support the team through this difficult time please let me know! I would be more than happy to attend any and all meeting to show my support to the boys, team and the coaches!!

The Potters (and smiths) proudly support coach D. He played a big part in raising my older son/football player, he has been very beneficial in the participation of my second son at AJ and in football and my youngest is banking on playing for him next year! WE STAND WITH COACH D!!!
I support Coach Detering. I have had the privilege of playing for and coaching under Coach D. He genuinely cares about all students in the community and is a man of good character. Thank you Brett!
I am one of Brett's secretaries and my son is one of his football players. Brett is the type of principal who cares for all of his students and always puts the student first no matter who he/she may be.
Coach Deterings impact on our community extends was beyond the football field. He restored pride and tradition back in our community. I am honored to not only still be a part of Anna-Jonesboro Football, but I am most proud that I can pass on the things Coach Detering taught me to the younger kids in our youth league.
If I typed all I think of this man, it simply wouldn't fit. He is without a doubt one of the best role models I had in school, life, and football. This man knows pain without measure. It pains me to see the allegations against him. He has been there for so many who needed lifted up.
