The possibility of a Wakeboard Cable Park on Lake Tye in Monroe provides our community with a rare and unique positive opportunity. My e-signature (or signature) indicates I am in favor of a Wakeboard Cable Park in MONROE, WA for the following reasons:

1. It provides an amazing opportunity for our youth to enjoy and participate in a water sport that is normally only accessible to those who own or have access to a boat. It is also a healthy outlet for the youth in our area giving them an opportunity to do something in lieu of just "hanging out".
2. It will generate revenue for the City of Monroe.
3. It fulfills the purpose and responsibility of a public park by creating another venue of activity in addition to swimming, soccer, baseball, running, walking, basketball, tennis, etc. where another target demographic is met. Public parks exist to meet the needs of as many different groups as possible and Lake Tye is an ideal place for a Wakeboard Cable Park.

There are other reasons as well, but these were amongst the top drawing our support. Please seriously consider all the benefits such a park would add to our community. In our opinion, much more would be added to, then taken away from the Lake Tye park with the addition of a Wakeboard Cable Park.
