These regulations do not help the local housing issue!

The county commissioners have not released any data to support their claims. Until they do, their reasons for the ordinance are just opinions that are possibly false and counter productive.

I am so shocked summit county would do this to current homeowners. Current property owners should at the least be grandfathered in. The lack of conscience is staggering as the county shamelessly alters the livelihood of residents. And if the county decides to do this, why wouldn't it be across the board? This solves nothing and only makes current upstanding residents angry and unable to stay themselves in their homes. Wow. This is an embarrassment to our county as the ignorance and corruption undeniable.

These restrictions will not help full time residents afford to rent houses, which seemed to be the initial reason for the push to restrict licenses.

Zone 3 Licenses definitely should be re-instated in all areas that contain properties that were built for 2nd home and short term/vacations. Further, there should be no limit on the number of days or number of bookings for any property - property owner choice and rights. Actually, every thing that the BOCC has done should be scrapped! Your attempt to control property ownership rights is totally against the 14 Amendment of the Constitution!

100% AGREE. The county does not even have any inventory of all the "STR restricted" properties that already exist due to HOA rules - it has not been any factor in their analysis for housing stock.

Before implementing rules that will drastically alter the local housing market, elected officials should undertake a careful study of the costs and benefits .

Vote NO on STR regulations. This type of mandate should be handled at an HOA or neighborhood level where owners have the opportunity to discuss the benefits/drawbacks and have the right to vote as a property owner.

I have lived on Peak 7 since 1994 as a full time resident. Please do not take away our rights to short term rent. We want equal rights to rent our property.

I am owner in Baldy TH in Breck, reason for purchase was to become a "new neighbor", trying to rent to afford it and unable to due to restrictions now, please reconsider affects of what you are doing to the new home owners and future neighbors of Summit County and Breckenridge area

Unjust. Unfair. Property owners will lose their equity where your rules are the most strict—-handing big money to the non-restricted areas. How can you consider this a noise issue? It is an issue of right and wrong where your property owners are concerned, plain and simple!

Stop this insanity, if you want long term housing inventory then build it. Restricting STR won't produce any material inventory.

Having our home as rental property in blue River not only helps finance our investment, but supports local workers who offer valuable services. Additionally, we offer a property away from the resort environment and crowds.
