This petition is being generated for the residents of Sullivan County, Pennsylvania who are fed up with slow internet that is being provided by our only option at this time, Frontier Communications. This provider is maxed out on the services they provide which result in very slow speeds, when it works at all.
The purpose of this petition is to show Blue Ridge Communications and/or Zito Media (the two businesses that have expressed an interest in providing services to the areas of Sullivan County, Pennsylvania that are lacking the resources we need to provide business support and learning for our families in 2017. We need to keep our residents and businesses happy, so they won’t leave our community.
Sullivan County feels that we have enough residents ready to sign up, to make it worth their while to invest in getting services to our area.
We want these businesses to know that we, the residents and business owners in Sullivan County are ready.

I work at the Red Rock Job Corps Center in Sullivan County and our students deserve to have a better internet connection to talk to their families while they are working on their education and training. This will help them stay supported and would be one less worry for them.
Could really use a DSL provider. My "DSL" through Frontier isn't even fast enough to be called slow. Slow is considered 5 and I am getting 1.9 to 2.3. WOW !!!!
Moved 2 months ago, found out no DSL ports available. Can't get internet at all from Frontier until someone disconnects their service. And they will not upgrade/add ports. Need another provider!
I grew up in the county and I am shocked when I visit my parents and their internet has not gotten much faster than when we had dial-up back in 1999. Unacceptable for what they are paying for!
We have battled with frontier for years, made fcc complaints, complaints to our state representivessel with never any resolve.
On the border if Sullivan and Bradford counties. We have a business that needs true high speed internet, and we are getting next to nothing. We need another option or for th8s to be fixed asap

Can't even watch a video without it stopping & starting.. We have a business and it is so slow and doesn't work many times. Have called them numerous times but nothing changes. Need several alternatives in this area and ringer hill area.
