We, the undersigned, New Zealand Sufjan Stevens Fans, ask that Sufjan comes to New Zealand while on his Australian Tour in 2008, and shares his extensive musical brilliance with us. Sufjan Stevens is neither often on tour (beyond the U.S.) , nor in the Southern Hemisphere. For many New Zealanders, this is closest chance we are ever going to get to see Sufjan live. New Zealand is only a 2 and half hour flight from Sydney, hardly out of the way and en route back home - such a small deviation would mean the world to us. We are using this petition to make Asthmatic Kitty and Sufjan Stevens recognise that there is a huge fanbase in New Zealand and that should he come, he would be very warmly and enthusiastically received.
