In May 2019 the Cure will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Disintegration, the bands landmark 1989 album at the Sydney Opera House as part of the acclaimed Vivid Festival. As the demand for these shows will be intense, this petition is asking the band to consider bringing the show to New Zealand, there is a strong and passionate fanbase in NZ as the band will know, we hope you can squeeze us in while you are in this part of the world!

I never thought we would actually see this much traction when I started this late at night on a whim. It is honestly wild to see people from all over the country joining in because it really shows how much we all need these songs played live in our own backyard.

You’ve done it in 2007 Al- let’s have a repeat of that success for those of us unlucky enough to miss out on the ballot ticket opportunity for Sydney!
Disintegration is beyond explanation, no word's can do justice to the feelings this album conjures! I have entered the Sydney ballot, but if I was lucky enough to be selected amongst the thousands, I would go again in New Zealand...for to not see this concert would make my heart disintegrate! XXX
Would love to see this show in the newly renovated and repaired Christchurch Town Hall (one of the top ten concert halls in the world).
Please come back to NZ - saw you in 2016 and would LOVE another chance to see you live.
It would be such an incredible experience to see this album played in full, please come back to NZ!
Looking forward to new album.

Haven’t seen you live since Glastonbury- 1991 maybe. Disintegration lived in my car stereo for years. I drove to Uni and back with it as my backdrop. Please come to New Zealand
