I spent the afternoon talking to the seniors who rely on our centre and hearing their fears about losing this space was heartbreaking. Someone told me this building is the only reason they leave their house all week. We are going to keep pushing until the council finally understands what they are taking away from us.

Seeing this kind of momentum reminds me that I am not alone in fighting for the heart of our neighborhood. My neighbors rely on these halls every single day and the support pouring in proves that this place is worth saving.

Darwen is getting nothing these days. Stop taking everything away from us.
What are the elderly supposed to do now?? Its the only place we have to meet up. Keep it open PLEASE
Sudellside is a lifeline for so many people around here. Absolutely ridiculous they would even think about closing it.
this is the only place my kids have to go after school. dont shut it down.

Need to keep the community Centre going as many people rely on it and need to be part of it !!
