I was just rereading some of the things you all wrote in the comments and it actually made me kind of emotional because it is honestly so ridiculous that we still have to fight for this access. I have been trying to get a straight answer from the administration office about why the cross-school enrollment is blocked but they just keep sending me these circular emails that go absolutely nowhere.

I feel very strongly about this topic as I too was very let down when I heard I was not able to take computer science as a GCSE in my own grammar school and unable to attend another school as I felt computer science would benefit my future. We are always being made aware of the many job opportunities with STEM and these include computer programming, we'd designing and such occupations that simple Ict does not cover. Therefore I find it hard to understand why we in school are being told of these jobs and they do not even let us take this subject to help is in future stem careers. I hope therefore in the future that students in SHGS should be able to avail of this. Kind regards

The school really needs to update the options available. Kids deserve the chance to learn coding instead of just basic word processing.
