By law, all students have to remain in full time education until they are 18.
Child fares on public transport cease when you turn 15; but because you have to remain in education there is a vaildargunent for students having continued reduced fares to their place of education.
I really never imagined this topic would resonate with so many people. It is truly humbling to see such a strong response to an issue that felt like such a lonely struggle just a short time ago.

THIS. My commute is way to expensive and it eats up all my savings. Totally unfair that we are forced to stay in school but get zero help getting there.

I'm down for this. Paying for train fares was something I absolutely hated whilst at college. Ended up dropping out since I couldn't manage education and work at the same time. No spare days to myself, either.
