The stories coming in from mature students regarding their travel costs are heartbreaking. I am currently working on a formal request for a meeting with the transit authorities to discuss these discrepancies.

Exactly. Just because I'm over 25 doesnt mean I have extra cash lying around. If anything I have less.
Struggling enough as it is trying to balance classes and work. This would actually help so much.

Ridiculous that they cut it off at 25. Some of us are going back to school later in life and we have kids to feed too. Not fair.
Why do they penalize mature students? Makes no sense at all. Same course load same stress same uni.

Lothian buses need to get with the times. Being a student is expensive enough without these extra costs.
