I have been shoveling all day and still have to do more and I’ve seen cars slipping in the roads and have been advised by the government to stay inside until weather gets better. No school please
While it was unsafe today, it is expected to be just as bad if not worse tomorrow with the amount of ice that will accumulate, and the continually dropping temperatures. Many people around my neighborhood have already lost power, and it simply isn't worth the risk at this point.
I've shoveled for hours and still can't even get the car out, how do I do it tomorrow with all the ice?
i live 30-40 minutes away from school on a day with perfect weather. the risk of anyone driving that long in horrible conditions like this is not one Iona should even consider taking
Not only is the road bad, it would be an extra blessing/opportunity to study for midterms
I need this day off I didn'T finish my homework

If schools on Long Island are closed, commuters to Iona Prep should be considered with concern and deep thought. Stay safe!
