To Mayor G.T. Bynum and all elected officials of Tulsa, Oklahoma:

Certain Oklahoma officials have engaged in tyranny by mandating and enforcing lockdown measures that were so restrictive that they have caused irreparable economic injury to our businesses. These restrictions were hastily enforced with little regard to how we would deal with the consequences. We believe our elected officials were more worried about media backlash than the financial cost that we and our children now have to endure. Your 401ks and diversified portfolios have already recovered, but our local small businesses are devastated. Your actions have benefited some of America’s largest corporations, but our Oklahoma businesses are legacies that lay the fiscal foundation for our families and communities. Now we, your citizens, are left to pick up the pieces. Because we are Oklahomans, we will succeed in bouncing back from this attack on our economy. We do not know how long this will take. However, we cannot accept another attack. We hear rumblings of future lockdowns coming in 2021. Now hear this. Printing money and inflating the value of our national currency to send us a $1200 pittance check is not sufficient to offset our injury. If you ever use your official capacity to enact laws that attack our businesses again, please know that we will not comply. We are all in agreement that if you attempt to issue another lock down measure of any sort we will peacefully assemble en masse at any business you attempt to penalize. We will spend our dollars at those businesses and stage sit ins. We will not pay your fines. We will not comply with your agents of enforcement. Our businesses will stay open and operate at full capacity. We will not enforce or comply with mask mandates or other restrictive measures without firm scientific evidence as to the restriction's supposed benefit. We are not afraid. We choose to defend our families, our neighbors, and our communities against all tyranny, both foreign and domestic. We are Oklahomans, our memories are long and your re-election depends on the decisions you make now. We are not your wards, serfs, or simple peasants. We are your electorate. You work for us. We are the people.
