It's about time investment in transport infrastructure was spread equally around the country instead of vast sums bring spent in the South East

London has CrossRail, Thameslink, javelin trains and now it wants CrossRail 2. This is the least we deserve.

It's crazy that we don't have this link already between two major cities. Conservatives keep your election promises you saw what breaking election promises did to Nick Clegg - learn from that!

More should be done to improve what is outdated and failing infrastructure across the North if you really wish to create the so called Northern Powerhouse, rather than spending a great deal to make minor improvements to an already comparatively modern service (HS2).

I work for FTPE and seeing my passengers stand for a full journey is terrible. It's time the north got a proper railway, with proper trains and enough seats for everyone!

Future devolutions will be put at risk by the broken promise of electrification or the vital northern Link. please step in and get the project back on track.

I've already written to David Cameron expressing my disapproval at this backward step and received a fob=off reply from a lowly official in the Transport Department. How different it is from when they were wanting our votes only a few weeks ago. We have been conned.

Just want what I voted for, can't take my vote back now but will consider trusting politicians in future.

The enormous imbalance between the per capita transport infrastructure spending in London must be stopped to redress decades of underspending.
