The government should keep it's promise and go ahead with the electrification without delay. I t unfair that the south-east gets the lion's share of government infrastructure investment at the expense of the rest of the country.

To develop a Northern Powerhouse you need to develop the infrastructure and how people can travel around the North for work.

Let's see the same levels of investment in northern England as we do in the south of England. Invest in norther rail infrastructure - else no Crossrail!

The electrification of this line is imperative to transport links getting to and from work in time. am now forced to drive due to unreliable and over crowded services

The south east is a black hole consuming human and financial capital to the detriment of the rest of the UK and itself. Time for some investment elsewhere to redress the balance.

As a Manchester based business man, I have interests in Leeds & Bradford that need better services... Why is business less important north of Watford than it is in London... We need the kind of investment that London has seen over the last 10-15 years, up NORTH and not the hand me down trains that we are getting after London has recieved its all BRAND NEW Trains.......
