2 of the biggest cities in the UK outside London connected by 1 heavily congested motorway (in a constant state of roadworks) and 1 railway line with smelly diesel locomotives and decrepit carriages (especially Pacers), or cast offs from London & the S.E.
This wouldn't be tolerated in London, so why should we have to STILL deal with it in the North. Help the Northern economy grow and SORT IT OUT!

Do the Conservatives know there is anything outside the M25? I don't beleive HS2 will get as far as Manchester either.

this project and increasing the amount of services and rolling stock should be the number one priority of this government. Interesting how the GW mainline still gets money despite the services already being adequate. Get the costs brought down and deliver a 21st century service which is fit for purpose
