Move Government out of London and relocate Parliament and the departments across the 'Northern Powerhouse'. We will get transport infrastructure improvements then!!

It is a disgrace that in the 21st century we in the who live in the " northern powerhouse" travel in antiquated trains that are packed like sardines, and years behind their use by date .
It would not be allowed to happen in Scotland , or the South East .
End this nonsense now !!!

I don't know about anyone else but i'am fed up of getting a raw deal from south of the border, It's our time now! I'am sick and tired of STANDING in cramped slow moving trains on this line - It's time to put your money where your mouth is Tories!

we in the North have earned and paid for the promised Manchester to Leeds tram service.Its about time you kept your promise to us I am sure a lot of voted that got you into office can go elsewhere in the future

As a regular commuter to Leeds, the journey has become worse with limited seating and over crowding making it difficult for us disabled to travel with some comfort..

Essential not just for the Northern economy but for the wider UK economy too, Long term plan that will make a huge difference, this should be fast tracked and not put on "pause".

Having previously lived in London I can appreciate that the need for Crossrail 2 let alone 1 is great. But we need more trains here, faster journeys and more frequent services will benefit the north economy. There needs to be a balance and its very clear right now there is no balance. George Osborne put your money where your mouth is, or was it all just a lie?
