This line is desperately overcrowded so it only makes sense to upgrade it. Why not with so many people there who want to use it, it will soon pay for itself just like the metrolink must have because it seems now this can't be expanded quick enough.

it would be a tragedy if the electrification does not go ahead it will help so many people get to work and back sooner and safer

They should re-plan the electrification now that they know it takes a bit longer and have some experience - don't pause it, just give us realistic expectations.

Scrap HS2 that would pay for it and more. Extra carriages, seats and station facilities are needed in the real world. Low class travel is not a pleasant experience and travel costs in relation to wages of minimum payments do not make it affordable for everyone.

Maybe we should all go back to the horse and cart and wear flat caps and hobnail boots then they will be happy. Most of the early wealth of London came from industry in the north it is about time this was paid back

Scrap HS2, Scrape Public money on Heathrows RW3 infrastructure, no further money to be spent in the South East until all Northern aspirations are met.
