I am currently drafting a formal letter to the Transport Select Committee to challenge the justification for this administrative charge. I have requested a meeting with representatives from the DVLA to discuss how this fee disproportionately impacts low income drivers. Expect a summary of their official response as soon as it arrives.

its already expensive enough to drive in this country without them adding hidden fees every time you turn around. stop the greed.

Ridiculous amount of money for a photo. They are just finding new ways to rob us blind at this point.
