Recommending NOT expanding the runway. We’ve lived by two airports that underwent expansion and the resulting noise was beyond intrusive. We pay way too much money to live in nice areas only to have it ruined by air traffic noise. Can we not keep our lives simple and quiet instead of selling our communities to greedy corporate entities?

Palomar Airport should remain a small local airport. There are too many houses that will be affected by the noise.

Stop the expansion. It is already almost more that. we can take! Not in favor of more overhead traffic pollution and noise in our neighborhood.

Keep Palomar airport small and private. When purchasing my house in January 2021, I was never made aware of any expansion.

the runway and such an intrusion is unacceptable.

This is obviously money/greed and nothing about health and safety of citizens. Mr. Horne’s wish has come to fruition. How soon will it be before we experience an event such as the one recently in Santee? We moved into our home the last day of 1987. We didn’t even know an airport existed. No papers signed saying we knew about the airport. Now, large jets flying over head at low altitudes will be a sad event. There has been absolutely no regard for any words of concern from the public. A small group has made a very large ugly impact on the community. No concern for those that live in other city limits, but no problem using our airspace.

We didn’t sign up to become an international airport when we moved here in 1984. Take your money and add a second on the way to Lindbergh field and then give us transportation from North County directly to the airport like other lesser cities have.

I live right under the existing flight line for planes landing at Carlsbad. This would be too much over so many residences. Do NOT make the runway longer and allow larger planes there! PLEASE!

We have already been impacted by the noise levels of the airplanes as it is. Expanding the airport to that capacity not only will cause higher levels of noise pollution, but will increase the probabilities of aircrafts mishaps!
