I didn't buy a home here to wake up to the sound of jet engines taking off nor do appreciate realizing my deck where I am relaxing in the afternoon is in the flight path. Do NOT expand props to jets.

Do not expand Carlsbad airport. No bigger planes.

No runway expansion.
More enforcement with fines on violators of the flight patterns over residential neighborhoods.
Air pollution monitoring needs to be implemented as this airport contributes greatly to global warming.

We moved to N County for the quiet. Keep Palomar small. Don't ruin our homes by allowing pilots to do training circles on top of our houses and don't allow bigger and more jets to destroy what we have built and worked for. People can fly out of SD.

If our residents and City Council do not define the boundaries of what this airport does and does not do, it will expand into a 24/7 air traffic hub that allows random flight routes that are at the convenience of the corporations that fly in and out of Carlsbad, creating constant noise and pollution over residential areas. The boundaries were set years ago by Carlsbad residents and Council, and legally upheld in recent rulings, in order to balance residential quality of life with reasonable air traffic. I ask that we uphold this already established limit on the growth of McClellan-Palomar Airport.

There are a LOT of small aircraft flying very low over our neighborhood. Many are circling at a very low altitude. It’s not healthy for us, our garden, the wildlife in the open space. If one goes down, it will start a huge wildfire and burn Encinitas and Carlsbad. They should fly over the ocean, not farmland, homes, and schools.

Please have respect and consideration for the people that live in the area around the airport. The in-bound flights pass much too low right over our home (the western edge of San Marcos) every day and night, the jets are so loud you have to stop all conversations until they have passed. Please consider the interests of the citizens that live in this area, not just the corporate interests that are pushing to expand the airport.

We do NOT want a John Wayne airport on Carlsbad. Besides the resulting air and noise pollution, there are serious safety issues to consider. No one monitors private aviation in terms of their flight path and altitude. They fly when and where they want. It will take just one accident to injure and kill people who live nearby. You allowed density growth and now you want to put all these lives at risk. Do any of YOU live under the flight path?
If you expand the runway that opens Palomar up to cargo planes. Are you seriously thinking that is acceptable?
For once think of the residents and stop bowing to corporate influence - financial or otherwise.

Absolutely detrimental to our health. Insanley busy small airport with total disregard as to what time they fly in. During the week, 11:30. 12:45 AM, 1 am, 3:30 am and 5am. WEEKLY! Can't sleep anymore, fly so low that our windows shake constantly. The black dust that we have in our house is from these toxic flights. My boyfriend has lived here 7 years and now has Cancer! They fly so low, 300 ft and so loud!!! This is not living! They are killing us!

Quite hours and mandatory flight patterns are needed
